Sorry for the late update, but my internet connection in OC was sketchy at best.
Saturday
Woke up to a cooked breakfast of bacon, eggs, & sausage(THANKS BOB), then headed off to the Convention Center for our day. We started with a general session with Leeland as our worship band, drama with One Time Blind, juggling with The Fitz Family, and speakers Joel Sonnenberg & Runks. (I should tell you a little bit about Joel Sonnenberg. Joel was severly burned over 88% of his body in an automobile accident when he was 2 years old.) After the General Session we went into a rotation of smaller seminars with The Fitz Family, Runks, The Masters Commision, and Joel. After the Rotation we headed back to the condos for lunch, pool, hot tubs, napping, goofing off, etc. We left for dinner at Lombardi’s, then went back to the OCCC for our evening session. Janet did our final pajama devotion(with the llama and ice cream!!!!), and off to bed we went.
Sunday
Donuts, this morning, then clean-up, check out of the condos, and off to the OCCC. We started with another rotation of optional seminars, then had our final General Session. We took our group picture(Thanks Becky) and back home we came. I do have a special story to tell you. I received an e-mail a couple of weeks before the Rally asking if we had any students interested in singing in a choir on the Sunday of the Rally. Sarah and Carrie, auditioned, and were selected to participate, which they did on Sunday Morning….Very Cool!
Here’s a few pics, and be sure to check out all of the pics on our Flickr Site.
