“What’s my story Contest”

So, here’s what really happened…
On the Sunday after Christmas, we went to Heinz Hall (a really old, very beautiful, theatre in Pittsburgh) to see a production of ‘Annie.’
As I was returning to my seat during intermission I caught the inside of my right foot on a step and ‘rolled’ my ankle down the step. I remember feeling like I was standing on my ankle, and pain. That’s about it.
Thinking I only sprained it, we got some ice for it and I watched the second act. (A very good production over all, but that’s for another post.) After the hour ride back to my in-laws house, I decided to go to the hospital (i figured I’d get an ace bandage and crutches.) First they said the bone was OK, then they said it was broken and showed me the break on the X-ray.
So, why give you the long story??? Because no matter how you say it, that story is LAME!!!! I need a better story and I’m taking suggestions! Add your ideas here. If you have such a great idea you don’t want anyone to plagiarize it, then send me an email at jbenamati@comcast.net.

We Spent Over $600 in
Postage in 2008
Last year(2008 ) we spent over $600 in postage mailing out newsletters, registration forms, info sheets, reminders, etc. - A set of toner cartridges for our printer costs over $900.
Why am I telling you this?
Because you can receive all your paperwork via e-mail, and save Christ-Youth the cost of both printing and mailing all of it.

Important HS Retreat Announcement
I meant to put this in the info sheet and forgot, however I did mention it to the kids when I talked with them this past week.
Kids who sign up for the HS Retreat are expected to be there for the COMPLETE event. If they must miss any of the retreat, then I am asking them not to sign up to go.
