Parental Notice <<Please Read

On Sunday, April 26, Christ-Youth will be doing a message on BOUNDARIES. Specifically we will be talking about Sexual Boundaries, with a concentration on the new phenomenon of “sexting”, the sending & receiving of in-appropriate pictures via cell-phones (and computers). It will be a split message, i.e., HS & MS will be meeting separately, but we will be talking about the same topic. We feel the need to discuss this topic, since we’ve already dealt with several instances of this. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact Joel or Janet.  On a related note, this week, April 19, we will be having the kids answer a very short (4-5 questions) anonymous survey on “sexting”, to give ourselves a baseline of knowledge to prepare our messages on.

Camp Joy

Selection Criteria
We take a limited number of students, therefore the Camp Joy Leadership Team will be selecting participants based on the following criteria:

1. Ability to work with others, spiritual and emotional maturity
2. Amount of participation at Christ-Youth meetings & events
   through the year
3. Seniority

Past participation on a Mission Trip WILL NOT be a determining factor
in the selection process.
