We’ll be selling leftover 2009 Camp Joy T-Shirts ($14) this weekend also. Not only from this year, but from past years also.
New Event Registration Option
We’ve implemented a new On-Line Registration Option for events. If you look on the upper right side (above “About Christ-Youth”) you’ll see a new link. Click on this link, and you’ll go to another site with the Registration Form. Fill it out, hit SUBMIT, and it’s done. The only thing left is to pay the Registration Fee.
FYI, This option is only for PARENT’S(or legal guardian’s) to fill out.
Camp Joy Updates
Last year, I updated our daily activities at Camp Joy with a Daily Update on this website. The good news is I’ll be doing to same this year, plus a little bit more.
If you have other family members/friends that you want to receive the e-mailed link for the updates, just send me their email address, and I’ll include them on the list for the updates.
On the right side you’ll find the Christ-Youth Twitter Feed. I won’t go into a long description of Twitter, but long story short, I’ll be attempting (pending cell coverage) little mini-updates during the day, which will post in that Twitter Feed box in our website. Also, if you want to sign up for a Twitter account(it’s free), you can follow us at ChristYouth. You also can sign up at Twitter to have the updates texted right to your cell phone.
I’ll also be uploading photos from my cell phone during the day(again pending cell coverage) directly to our Flickr Site, so you’ll be able to see photos during the day. (Hopefully) These photos will pop up on the Christ-Youth Photos ribbon on the right side of the web-site.
For all you Facebook people, my updates from Twitter will also post to Facebook. You’ll have to be my friend (Joel R. Smith), so if you’re not, go ahead and ask me.
Trust me, this isn’t nearly as much work as it sounds like…plus I need something to do while I’m sitting under my umbrella sipping ice tea while the kids are working.
