Breakfast was a repeat of Monday, scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, and actually quite good. We circled up, prayed, and headed off to the job sites.
Paint Job – Adham, Bob, Erin, Sarah, Carrie, Sam, Kate, Ryan, Alex
They got the THIRD coat (the house is sucking up the paint) on the whole east side of the house, the first floor of the bottom porch done, started on the railing, removed the rotten wood on the eaves, and finished the west side as well. They also went back and touched up areas than needed some additional 
attention. Carla showed up by lunch time and started painting and played on the scaffolding. They’ll get done tomorrow, assuming the weather cooperates.
Ramp Job – Everybody Else
Tori and Ashley got working on the deck boards on the completed section, and made it all the way to the top. Megan, Carter, Taylor, and Michelle (along with Janet and Melissa )were our cutting crew, cutting anything and everything we needed. Jeff, Bryan, and Aaron began digging out the area for the bottom of the ramp. Joe laid out the bottom section of the ramp in the morning, and Danny started with the cross-
bracing with Sean. I(Joel) was mostly a floater, moving from spot to spot helping as needed. After lunch Sean and Carter started putting the deck boards down on the lowest section, along with Bryan and Aaron. Our lumber showed up and we started putting the backside stringers and 
support piers up. About 2 we cut most of the crew loose for the pool, along with Jeff and Melissa who were heading home. Danny, Joe, myself, Ashley, Bryan and Sean stayed behind to finish a few things.
The Pool, Dinner, Vespers, Bathroom Duty
The paint crew and ramp crew got to the pool, and were able to swim for 20-30 minutes, before the rains came. They just hung out in the pavilion until the rest of us ramp crew people showed up. Dinner was hamburgers, hot dogs, a rice, broccoli, cheese casserole, another 4 star dinner!!! Due to the rain we ended up at First UMC in Berkeley for Vespers. Due to us having bathroom duty we’ve moved Dairy Queen to tomorrow night(Thurs). We headed back to camp and hit the bathrooms. Ours downstairs weren’t too bad….upstairs was a WHOLE DIFFERENT STORY.
I’ll share this with you all, since no one at camp will read this before they come home. Our site coordinator, Grant Wheeler, is definitely one of the best ones we’ve had. Grant and his wife have invited the ramp crew tomorrow to his house for lunch tomorrow. Those of us who went on the scouting trip had the pleasure of having lunch at the Wheeler house when we came up for the scouting trip. Tomorrow will be a lot of fun. Adham and Bob will be doing something special with the paint crew tomorrow, so tomorrow will be bonus day all around.
We’re over half way done….hard to believe….couple of big days coming up!!! Keep Praying!!!!
