Christ-Youth Student Ministry can best be described as a “combined-split” youth ministry. There are events and things we (the HS & MS Ministries) do together, and there’s events and things we do separately. See the HS MINISTRY & MS MINISTRY pages for specific information on separate events and things.
The primary part of our combined ministry is our Sunday Night Youth Meeting. We meet from the Sunday after Labor day until the Sunday before Father’s Day in June. We meet MOST Sunday evenings, although certain Sunday’s of the year we do not meet. (See Monthly Schedules for up-to-date information)
Our regular Sunday meetings typically consist of the following:
5:30 +/- People start showing up, playing games, hanging out
6:00 +/- Announcements, Prayer Concerns
6:10 +/- Group Games(s)
6:25 +/- Split MS/HS Message Time (this is where Joel & Janet talk WAY TOO MUCH…)
7:45+/- SnackTime/Hanging Out
8:00 +/- Time to go home
Combined HS & MS Events
Christ-Youth does numerous combined HS/MS Events during the entire year. List below are some of those events.
OC Youth Rally (Jan) 
The OC Youth Rally is a gi-nourmous youth event held at the Convention Center in Ocean City. Sponsored by the Peninsula-Delaware Conference, this event typically occurs the 1st weekend after New Year’s
Camp Joy(July) 
Christian Appalachian Mission Project Joining Other Youth, otherwise known as Camp Joy, this is Christ-Youth’s annual Mission Trip. Located in and around Berkeley Springs WV., we spend the week sleeping in tents and fixing/repairing people’s homes. Teams Members have to be selected to go on this trip.
Assateague Trip(Aug) 
The kickoff for our year is a trip to Assateague to swim, eat, have fun, goof off…and NOT DROWN!! We go down to the Federal side of Assateague, and typically this trip occurs on the Sunday before Labor Day Weekend.
Sub Sales(fall/spring) 
The primary fund-raisers for Christ-Youth is our Sub Sale(s). Held typically on Monday’s when local schools are closed, the money we raise at these sub-sales helps lower the cost of the other events we do during the year. Typically we will make and sell 300-550 subs.
Friday Fun Nights
Friday Fun Nights are basically a game night at the church. We project video games, have ping pong, food and drink. You are encouraged to invite friends to this event.
Concerts(when available) 
Christ-Youth will attend Christian concerts at the Wicomico Civic Center(and other places) when they occur in our area. In the past we have seen: Michael W. Smith, Third Day, Casting Crowns, Mercy Me, David Crowder, Audio Adrenaline, Leeland, Monk & Neagle, plus many more.
